Alex beats up François mercilessly. He wants his money at any cost. He is a drug peddler and François has a debt towards him. The thrashing does not alarm Fred, François‚Äô girlfriend. Neither does it arouse in her any reaction of solidarity. In truth, Fred rather enjoys seeing her boyfriend being beaten up. Just over twenty, Fred feels drawn to the danger Alex represents. To win him, she will get a fourth person involved, Sylvia, whom she meets in a discotheque. Together both couples make for a hotel suite where they will spend the night mid talk, laughter, tears, confrontation, and games of seduction. This is a chance for Fred to test her abilities. Lou Doillon who plays the role of Fred is daughter to director Jacques Doillon and singer Jane Birkin.

JACQUES DOILLON

Born in Paris, 1944. He got his start in film as an editor, and was an assistant editor on Alain Robbe-Grillet’s Trans-Europ-Express (1967). He directed films such as Un Sac de Billes (1975), The Pirate (1983, 8th Mostra), L`Amoureuse (1988, 15th Mostra), The 15 Year Old Girl (1989, 13th Mostra), Le Petit Criminel (1990), Du Fond du Coeur - Germaine e Benjamim (1994); Ponette (1996), Critic’s Prize at the 20th Mostra and winner of four awards at the Venice Film Festival; Totally Flaky (2001, 25th Mostra), Raja (2003, 27th Mostra), Just Anybody (2007, 32nd Mostra) and The Three-Way Wedding (2010). His film You, Me and Us is also part of the 37th Mostra’s lineup.
